Algibra D Capsule is a medicine that consists of Domperidone and Rabeprazole. This medicine is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux), nausea and vomiting that may be associated with excess stomach acid production. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced by your stomach. It also works on your upper digestive tract to increase gastrointestinal motility, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Algibra D Capsule may cause some side effects such as diarrhoea, constipation, headache, stomach pain, dryness of mouth, etc. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if any of these symptoms persist or if they become severe. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Algibra D Capsule should be taken 15-30 minutes before a meal. Take it as prescribed by your doctor. Continue taking this medicine for the prescribed duration for better results. Algibra D Capsule may not be suitable for all people. Inform your doctor if you have pre-existing heart, liver, kidney, gastrointestinal problems or a history of osteoporosis (a condition with weak and brittle bones) before beginning treatment with this medicine. Also, inform your doctor about your ongoing medications. This medicine is not recommended for use if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.
