DUOMATE FORTE TRANS CAPSULE is a fixed-dose combination of beclomethasone and formoterol which belongs to the group of medicines called anti-asthmatic drugs. It is used in the management of asthma and its symptoms in adults and adolescence patients.
Asthma is a condition which causes swelling and narrowing of the airways resulting in breathing difficulty, extra mucus secretion, breathing difficulty, whistling sound (wheezing) when you breathe out and shortness of breath. DUOMATE FORTE TRANS CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients allergic to beclomethasone or formoterol. DUOMATE FORTE TRANS CAPSULE should be used with caution in patients with heart disease, high blood pressure(hypertension), kidney disease, thyroid disorder, and diabetes. Avoid concomitant use of other antimicrobials and anti-depressants along with DUOMATE FORTE TRANS CAPSULE. DUOMATE FORTE TRANS CAPSULE is not recommended for use in pregnant women and breast milk. Consult your doctor before taking DUOMATE FORTE TRANS CAPSULE. DUOMATE FORTE TRANS CAPSULE should be used with caution in children and adolescents (above 12 years of age). The common side effects of DUOMATE FORTE TRANS CAPSULE are sore throat, abnormal voice, headache, and tremors.
