ABOUT ABOCAL 500 TAB

Abocal 500 mg Tablet is indicated as Calcium and Vitamin D3 supplement in deficiency states like prevention and treatment of rickets, osteoporosis (decreased bone density), Osteomalacia (bone weakness). It contains Vitamin D3 and Calcium Carbonate as active ingredients.

Calcium Carbonate and Vitamin D3 helps in bone strengthening as Vitamin D3 enhances the absorption of Calcium in intestine, reduces parathyroid hormones levels and improves the quality and amount of bone formation. Calcium on other hand is important for process of bone formation and bone mineralization.

Take 1-2 Abocal Tablet daily or as directed by your doctor or. Do not take in case if you are suffering from kidney stones, kidney failure, hypervitaminosis D (high levels of Vitamin D). Abocal tablet should be used with caution in patients with impaired kidney function, sarcoidosis, hypercalcaemia (increased calcium levels) due immobilization in osteoporotic patients or due to malignancy. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding women, consult your doctor before taking Abocal Tablet. It should be used with caution in elderly patients.
