The medications zinc pyrithione and ketoconazole found in AF K Lotion are classified as antimicrobials. Dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis, a fungal infection that causes dry or oily scaling of the scalp and other regions of the body, are conditions it is used to treat and prevent.


Tell your doctor if you take steroids or have any sensitivities before taking AF K LOTION. Pregnant and nursing women can typically use AF K LOTION, but as always, see your doctor for advice.

It is not advised to use AF K LOTION on young children or babies. Steer clear of the eyes. If contact occurs, thoroughly rinse your eyes with water. If any adverse effects occur, or if any of the symptoms worsen, give your doctor a call.
