C V P Capsule is a combination of Vitamin C, Calcium lactate, Ferrous gluconate, Menadione and Citrus bioflavonoids. Vitamin C is mainly necessary for cell mediated immune responses including leucocyte and macrophage functions, neutrophil motility and phagocytosis, but also for antimicrobial activity, interferon synthesis and antihistamine properties. Menadione (Vitamin K) is prescribed for the treatment of hemorrhage, vitamin K deficiency, moderate to severe forms of hypoprothrombinaemia in adults and children. Bioflavonoids have been used in alternative medicine as an aid to enhance the action of vitamin C, to support blood circulation, as an antioxidant, and to treat allergies, viruses, or arthritis and other inflammatory conditions.
